POSTAL ASSISTANTS AND SORTING ASSISTANT NOTIFICATION PREVIOUS PAPERS DOWNLOAD SYLLABUS

Department of posts, Government of India is announced the notification to recruit the jobs of postal assistant and sorting assistant for the academic year of 2014-15. the aspirants whoever apply to the PA & PS posts online they are required the model papers for the preparation. Hence we provide model papers and previous question papers below links.before preparing for the examination the aspirants should well known about the syllabus and pattern.

Syllabus and pattern of exam:

The aspirants who are looking for the examination he/she is supposed to be attend the APTITUDE TEST.this aptitude test is compressed of 100 maximum marks.the aptitude test will be on the following subjects mentioned below.there are no negative marks for the wrong answers.

PART-A :25 Questions on General Knowledge – Questions may be on current events,
sports, history, geography, basic economics, general politics, Indian
Constitution, Science environment etc (25 marks).

PART-B : 25 Questions on Mathematics of matriculation standard which may
cover number system, simplification, decimals, corrections, simple &
compound interest, percentage, average, profit and loss, discount,
menstruation, Time & work and time & distance etc. (25 Marks)

PART-C : 25 questions on English covering grammar (prepositions, adverbs,
conjunction, direct/indirect speech, singular & plural, tenses,
antonyms/synonyms etc. (25 Marks)

PART-D : 25 Questions on Reasoning and analytical Ability. (25 marks).

Computer test:

After the entrance test i.e. examination ,the candidates are the candidate are subjected to a computer typing based test,the selection of the candidates may be based on the speed ,occuracy. consisting one passage of 450 words in English OR 375 words in Hindi to be typed with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute or 25 words per minute respectively
